Nothing hits better than a warm bowl of chicken congee to heal your soul ❤️

Cut the green onion, garlic, ginger and marinate the chicken.

Sautee green onion, garlic, and ginger in pot, add in the rice, chicken stock, and water.

Add in 1 tbsp fish sauce and mix. Cover and let it simmer for 30 mins.

Add in carrots then cover and let simmer for 10 mins.

Add in the chicken. Let it cook in the congee.

After 20 mins of simmering, serve with black pepper & top with egg and chili oil.
