The Figgy Brie Sandwich

Slice the French roll: cut the French roll in half horizontally to create a top and bottom half.

Spread fig jam: evenly spread 1 tablespoon of fig spread on the cut side of the top half of the roll.

Layer the Brie cheese: place the three slices of brie on the bottom half of the Roehl. Try to space them out evenly for good coverage.

Add the apple slice: lay three thin apple slices on top of the brie cheese. Slightly overlapping them helps to keep them in place.

Add optional prosciutto: drape 1 to 2 slices of prosciutto over the apples.

Top with arugula: add a handful of arugula over the apple or prosciutto if needed.

Close the sandwich: gently press, the top of the roll onto the arugula.

Optional put sandwich in Panini press. And enjoy.
