Crush the cookies.

In the bowl of a stand mixer or a food processor with a paddle attachment, mix the crushed cookies with the melted butter and almond extract.

Place a tart ring on your serving plate, pour in the cookie mixture, press it down gently, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.

In the bowl of a stand mixer or a food processor with a whisk attachment, beat the heavy cream with the mascarpone, vanilla bean seeds, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Remove the tart ring and pipe the whipped cream mixture onto the crust using a plain 10 mm tip.

Slice the washed and dried strawberries in half and arrange them nicely on top of the whipped cream.

If desired, warm the strawberry jam and brush it over the strawberries, especially if the fruit isn’t very flavorful.
