Ingredients

30 minutes
Serves 3 servings
  1. 10.5 ozboneless chicken, cut into small pieces (300 grams)
  2. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  3. 1 teaspoonginger-garlic paste
  4. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1egg
  6. 7-8garlic cloves, chopped
  7. 2 teaspoonsginger, chopped
  8. 2green chilies, chopped or made into a paste
  9. 1 cuponion petals
  10. 1 cupyellow bell pepper, chopped
  11. 1 cupred bell pepper, chopped
  12. 3 tablespoonswhite part of green onions
  13. 2 teaspoonssoy sauce
  14. 4 tablespoonstomato ketchup
  15. 2 teaspoonswhite vinegar
  16. 1/2 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  17. 1 tablespooncornstarch mixed with 3 tablespoons water
  18. 1 cupoil for frying chicken and vegetables
  19. 2 tablespoonsgreen onion tops, chopped, for garnish

Steps

30 minutes

    First, mix all the marinade ingredients with the chopped chicken and let it marinate for 30 minutes.

    After 30 minutes of marination, fry the chicken pieces until lightly golden and set aside.

    In a separate pan, quickly fry the ginger, garlic, green onions, and bell peppers for about 5 seconds, then add all the sauces and vinegar.

    Once everything is mixed, add the fried chicken and the cornstarch slurry. Mix well until the sauce thickens and the chicken is coated. Your Chicken Manchurian is ready to serve.

    Transfer the Chicken Manchurian to a serving dish, garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, and serve. (You can also serve it with fried noodles, fried rice, or plain rice.)
