Pilau is a balanced diet whole meal. Its a good way and out of normal way of preparing rice. It tastes better than rice and more nutritious than the common rice.
Steps

Cut meat to medium sizes. Then add a little water and put to boil.

Add 2 tbsp of oil to the boiling meat and 1 tbsp of salt.

Cook until water has dried out then let it brown.

Let it cook till brown then add the crushed garlic. Cook until a sweet aroma is produced.

Then add the chopped onion and cook till soft.

Then add the pilau masala and the mixed spices.

Add oil to prevent the meat from burning. Then add hot water 4 litres

Then add rice and cover. Cook until the water has finished. Then uncover it and mix the rice well. Then reduce heat and let it simmer for a few minutes.

After about 15minutes check if the rice is ready and serve hot with soup or sauce.
