Ingredients

Serves 5 servings

1 cupwhite rice (about 200 grams)
1 can(about 7 oz/200 grams) mixed vegetables (corn, peas, carrots)
1 clovegarlic
1 tablespoonbutter
1 1/3 cupswater (about 315 ml)
Pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste

Steps

Rinse the rice and drain well.

Finely chop the garlic.

In a pot, melt the butter and sauté the garlic.

Add the rice and stir until it becomes translucent.

Add the water and the mixed vegetables.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cover and cook on low heat until the water is absorbed.
