Ingredients

2 servings
  • 4 piecesChicken drumettes
  • 100 mlCoke
  • 2 tbspSoy sauce
  • 1 cloveGarlic (minced)
  • 1 pieceEgg
  • a fewleaves Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tspOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and sear chicken drumettes until browned.

  2. 2

    Add garlic, Coke, and soy sauce. Simmer until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked.

  3. 3

    Poach the egg in boiling water until just set.

  4. 4

    Plate chicken, drizzle with sauce, and top with cilantro.

  5. 5

    Serve with the poached egg on the side.

Tips

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce and garlic for a few hours before cooking.
