This dish is a one pot meal and perfect combination of protein and carb . It is easy and quick to make recipe and ingredients are easily available and everyone can afford. This dish you can carry in travel also.

First of all keep rice cooked and ready. Then heat a pan and add oil, as heated,add mustard seeds and cumin seeds as it splutter add asafoetida.

Now add curry leaves and ginger- garlic- green chilli paste and saute to remove rawness.

Now add grated dry coconut and roast it in the same tadka.

Now add besan and roast it very properly as taste of this dish depends on this step.

When colour of besan is changed and it released it's typical aroma,add cooked rice.mix it well and let cook for 2 minutes.

Now transfer it to serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and grated dry coconut.
Tips
Roast besan very carefully on low flame. If you feel it's very dry ,add little oil.
