Ingredients

6-serving
  • 400 GramsTuna Canned
  • 1onion Big
  • 2Green chilli
  • 2Potatoes
  • 1 1/2 TeaspoonsGaram Masala
  • 1/2 TeaspoonTurmeric powder
  • 1 TeaspoonChopped Ginger
  • 1/2 CupBread Crumbs
  • 1egg
  • Curry leaves
  • 1 TablespoonOil
  • Salt

Steps

    Boil and mash the potatoes and keep it aside

  2. 2

    In a pan pour the oil and then add the chopped onions,chopped ginger,chopped green chili and curry leaves

  3. 3

    Once the onions become soft and turns golden brown add turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well and cook for around 4 minutes

  4. 4

    To this mixture add the canned tuna and cook for another 3-4 minutes

  5. 5

    Now add the mashed potatoes and mix well

  6. 6

    Turn of the gas and allow the mixture to cool

  7. 7

    Once the mixture is cool add the bread crumbs and combine well

  8. 8

    Make small balls out of the mixture and form a shape..say oval or round

  9. 9

    Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees

  10. 10

    Lightly grease a baking tray with some oil (I Used the non-stick oil spray)

  11. 11

    Now beat one egg in a bowl

  12. 12

    Take each of the fish cake and dip it in egg and place in the baking tray.

  13. 13

    Bake for around 20 minutes

  14. 14

    Serve with tomato ketchup
