Ingredients

  • 1/4 cupbadam almonds /
  • 2 cupsmilk
  • 1 pinchsaffron
  • 1cardamom piece
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 2ghee tslp

Steps

    Boil milk and soak saffaron separately in luke warm water. Keep boiling the milk in low flame

  2. 2

    Boil water and add the almonds to it. Let it boil for a minute. Switch off the flame. Frain and wash under tap water to cool down

  3. 3

    Now you will be able to peel off the skin. Prel all the almonds

  4. 4

    Reserve some almonds for garnish. Grind rest of the almonds with little milk to a smooth paste

  5. 5

    Add the ground almond paste, soaked saffaron and sugar and mix well

  6. 6

    Boil untill u get desired consistency. Keep stiring every now and then to avoid burnt bottom. It could take around 8- 10 mins.

  7. 7

    Slice the reserved almonds to garnish heat ghee in a pan and fry the almonds for a min and add it to boiling kheer

  8. 8

    Switch off the flame and enjoy kheer.
