  • 1/2 cupMoong dal -
  • 1/4 cupChana dal -
  • 1/2 tspnTurmeric -
  • 2Ghee - tblpsn
  • 1/2 tspnHing / asfoetida -
  • 1 tspnCumin seeds -
  • 2red chilli Dry -
  • Salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Add both dals,turmeric powder and salt to a pressure cooker.Add enough water,cover and cook for 3-4 whistles or till the dal is cooked well.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee in a pan.Splutter cumin seeds.Add hing and red chillies.Then add the cooked dal and mix well.Remove from fire and serve with roti.
