Ingredients

  • 2Squid medium size
  • 2 cloveChopped garlic
  • 1 tspcoriander leaves Chopped
  • 1/4 cupBreadcrumb
  • 1 tbsOlive oil
  • 1 tspOnion chopped
  • 1/2 tspchilly Green chopped
  • 1 tbsButter
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2Toothpick
  • 1/3 cupTomato puree
  • 2 tbsOlive oil
  • 1 clovechopped garlic Finely
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander leaves Chopped
  • to tasteSalt

  1. 1

    Clean the squid and separate the tentacles.Steam the body part of the squid for 2 min. Cut the tentacles into small pieces and saute in small quantity of olive oil for few min.

    In a bowl add breadcrumb, tentacles, chopped garlic,onion,coriander leaves, green chilli, pepper, salt and butter. mix well.

  3. 3

    Fill the 3/4 th of the squid body with breadcrumb mixture and lock the open end of the squid tube with toothpicks.

  4. 4

    For preparing the sauce,heat the olive oil in a pan and add chopped garlic,tomato puree,red chilly powder and salt. Allowed to boil and finally add chopped coriander leaves and remove from heat.

  5. 5

    Heat olive oil in a frying pan and put the stuffed squid in a low flame and fry both sides till it start to turn light brown. Then coat the stuffed squid with the sauce and serve.
