Soak rice and moong dhal for 30 mins

Dry roast moong dhal and set aside.Pressure cook rice and dhal with 4 cups of water for 3 whistles

Fry the cashews with ghee and set aside

Take oil in a pan and add jeera,pepper,ginger,green chilly,curry leaves and fry for 2 mins

Add salt,peringayam(hing).
- 6
Add these to cooked pongal.Mix well.add little ghee to it
