Tuna cutlets
A delicious snack or a side dish with rice and sambhar.
Steps

Drain two cans of tuna and keep aside.

Chop onion and heat oil in a pan. Saute onion, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, and then add the drained tuna. Mix well on low heat.

Meanwhile boil the potatoes and mash them well after it cools down. Add the potatoes to the tuna mixture. Add the egg yolk also. If the mixture is not soft enough to make patties, add the soaked slices of bread to it.

Then mix well again adding salt and pepper. Roll into small patties and then flatten each one on your palm to get an oval shape.

Meanwhile heat oil for frying. Dip the patties in the egg white and roll them in the bread crumbs. Then fry each patty in the oil till golden brown on both sides. Drain off any excess oil before serving.
