A mouthwatering appetizer of Indian origin, these tantalizing fried potato cutlets are spiced up with garam masala, lemon juice and chili powder coated with semolina.

Mix all the above ingredients except the egg white and semolina in a large bowl.

Make orange size balls and flatten to make the shape of a cutlet. Dip it in the egg white and then in semolina (sooji) for coating so that the cutlets don't break.

Heat oil in a pan and then add the cutlets for frying.

Serve hot with tamarind sauce!
