When I want a different kind of morning, I make fatteh because it's a work of art and flavor. Try it before you miss out!

Cook the chickpeas. Place the toasted pita bread in a large bowl, then moisten the bread with hot chickpea cooking water. Add the cooked chickpeas on top.

Mix the yogurt and tahini with a squeeze of lemon and some cumin, then pour the mixture over the chickpeas.

Garnish with chopped parsley and diced tomato. Melt the clarified butter or ghee and drizzle it on top. Enjoy!
