Ingredients

  1. 500 mlcanned salmon (1 pint)
  2. 250 mlsoft bread crumbs ( 1 cup)
  3. 2eggs beaten
  4. 7 mlfinely chopped onion ( 1 full teaspoon)
  5. 250 mlmilk (1 cup)
  6. 5 mllemon juice (1/2 tsp.)
  7. 2 mlsalt (1/4 tsp.)
  8. f.g. pepper

  1. 1

    Remove the skin from the fish if desired; crush the soft bones and mix with the oil and flaked salmon.

  2. 2

    Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

  3. 3

    Place in a greased loaf tin and dot with butter. Bake at 180°C/350°F until firm and brown, about 45 minutes.
