500 mlcanned salmon (1 pint)
250 mlsoft bread crumbs ( 1 cup)
2eggs beaten
7 mlfinely chopped onion ( 1 full teaspoon)
250 mlmilk (1 cup)
5 mllemon juice (1/2 tsp.)
2 mlsalt (1/4 tsp.)
f.g. pepper

Remove the skin from the fish if desired; crush the soft bones and mix with the oil and flaked salmon.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Place in a greased loaf tin and dot with butter. Bake at 180°C/350°F until firm and brown, about 45 minutes.
