Ingredients

  1. 1large cauliflower or 2 small ones
  2. 15 slicesbacon, cut into pieces
  3. 4-5 tablespoonsflour
  4. 7 tablespoonsbutter (about 100 grams)
  5. 1 1/4-1 2/3 cupsmilk (300-400 ml)
  6. Nutmeg
  7. Salt, pepper
  8. Yellow cheese

    Cut the small cauliflowers into four pieces each or the large one into eight pieces.

    Place them in a pot with salted water until it boils, then remove them. Set aside a little of the water.

    Sauté the bacon well and set it aside.

    In a pot, make the béchamel by melting the butter and adding the flour, stirring constantly.

    Add the milk gradually, allowing it to thicken before adding more, and add about 1/3 cup (100 ml) of the water from boiling the cauliflower. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
