Country-Style Sausages with Potatoes in the Oven

I always make sure to have two or three country-style sausages in my fridge for the day I need a quick meal or when I don't feel like spending much time cooking. Today is one of those days, haha. Easy, quick, and economical meal.
A few more secrets
Sometimes, because I like spicy food, I add half a finely chopped hot pepper to one side of the baking dish or sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Or if I have spicy mustard, I add only that and not the other spicy ingredients.

Steps
- 1
First, cut the potatoes into wedges or slices so they are thinner and cook faster, and arrange them in the baking dish.
- 2
Then sprinkle the potatoes with your herbs and spices, squeeze the half lemon, and slightly dilute the 4 tablespoons of mustard with a tablespoon of water and pour it over the potatoes.
- 3
Mix the potatoes with your hands to ensure the mustard and spices are evenly distributed.
- 4
Cut the sausages into large pieces about 1 1/4 inches long and add them to the baking dish, mixing again.
- 5
Pour in half a cup of water to start. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes and place it in a preheated oven at 350°F until the potatoes are well cooked. If the liquid evaporates, add a little more water.
- 6
When the potatoes are cooked, remove the aluminum foil, increase the temperature to 400°F, and leave for 10-15 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates (check in between) and the potatoes are golden brown.
- 7
It's an easy, quick, and economical meal in no time!
