Chinese Jelly Noodles in Chilly Oil

This is really popular Street food in China, especially during summer time. It was quite hot in Bristol today. So I tried to make some cold Jelly Noodles, to cool down a little bit. It is really easy to make and supper tasty.

This is really popular Street food in China, especially during summer time. It was quite hot in Bristol today. So I tried to make some cold Jelly Noodles, to cool down a little bit. It is really easy to make and supper tasty.
Steps

Adding 200g potato starch in a bow.

Mixing well 200g potato starch with 200g water.
- 3
Boiling the reset 800g water in a pot.

Adding the mixture into the boiling water, then adjust the heat to soft, and keep stirring.

After the mixture get the transparent color, turn off the hob.

Get a rectangle container or a deep baking tray, brush over with oil. Then pour the mixture inside.

Let it cool down and put into fridge for at least 2 hours for shaping

After shaping, pour out and cut into the shape you like (could be cube, or strip shape)

Adding all the seasonings on the top, mix well everything and enjoy~
