Ingredients

  • 2 lbBoneless & skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 canNewman's Own pasta sauce with Italian sausage
  • 2 packagesItalian Blend finely shredded sheese
  • 1/2 canParmesan/Romano cheese

Steps

1 hour 30 mins

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Boil chicken until fully cooked

  3. 3

    Pour sauce in the bottom of a 9x13" baking dish

  4. 4

    Place chicken in baking dish

  5. 5

    Cover chicken with Italian Blend cheese

  6. 6

    Sprinkle Parmesan/Romano over cheese

  7. 7

    Bake for 30 minutes or until cheese is bumbling and golden brown

  8. 8

    Serve atop your favorite pasta

overall this was a fast, easy, and delicious dish. i used a different can sauce, which ever was cheapest at my local grocer, and let it simmer in a skillet and melted a half a stick of butter in it before adding it all together. The only thing that i might change next time is the chicken. I think it would be awesome to bread it first.
