wash and dry chicken. melt stick of butter in deep skillet or pot.

dredge chicken pieces in seasoned flour. brown on all sides. remove from pan add diced onion and carrots cook for 5 min turning frequently

add chicken broth and remaining ingredients. bring to a boil then reduce heat and add chicken cover and let cook medium low for 45 min to an hour.
