Frosting
1/2 cupbutter (1 stick)
1(8oz) package of cream cheese
3 tbspfresh lime juice
4 cupcongectioners sugar

Steps

Preheat oven at 350°. Combine cake mix, oil, eggs, gelatin, and orange juice in large bowl. Mix well until all lumps are out.

Pour batter into 2 greased 9 in pans. Bake according to box instructions or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

To make frosting. In large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add lime juice and confectioners sugar. Mix well.

this is one of the best key lime cake recipes I use this knee every time very moist... I ground up pecans and put it in the frosting it amped it up even more...
