2bottles medium dry white wine
500 mllight cider
150 mlelderflower cordial
2lemons zest pared in strips, not grated
2cinnamon sticks
1split vanilla pod
5 tbspcaster sugar

Put all the ingredients in a pan and heat through until steaming but not boiling

Ladle into mugs and serve with a warm mince pie!
