I know that most people do not think that Hamburger Helper is cooking, but being a busy cook it is important to get something hot on the table that taste homemade. I worked full time, my mom was ill, and I have lupus. So I use a meat mix (my own recipe) and a box!!! :evilgrin :-) :-) :hungry

1/2 cupsour cream

make meat mix, the recipe for meat mix is on my profile (bell pepper, garlic & onion)

drain ground beef. add milk, noodles, and seasoning package.

cook according to instructions on box.

when noodles are tender add the sour cream and stir into mixture. turn off fire and stir until the sour cream is mixed in well.

As a fibro spoonie, I can appreciate the need for shortcuts; unfortunately, my mother cannot handle the high salt content of HH, but I look forward to finding some other shortcuts here as I am having to cook more frequently. Sadly, I am not as great of a cook as she is. I have been spoiled by her cooking for far too long.
