Ingredients: 240 ml cider vinegar; 80 ml treacle/molasses; 60 ml water; 3 tbsp lemon juice; 1 1/2 tbsp salt; 1 1/2 tsp mustard powder; 1 tsp onion powder; 3/4 tsp ground ginger; 1/2 tsp black pepper; 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon; 1/4 tsp garlic powder; 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper; 1/8 tsp allspice; 1/8 tsp cardamom powder; 1 1/2 tsp tamarind paste; 1 tsp anchovy paste (leave out if vegan)

240 mlcider vinegar
80 mltreacle/molasses
60 mlwater
3 tbsplemon juice
1 1/2 tbspsalt
1 1/2 tspmustard powder
1 tsponion powder
3/4 tspground ginger
1/2 tspblack pepper
1/4 tspground cinnamon
1/4 tspgarlic powder
1/4 tspcayenne pepper
1/8 tspallspice
1/8 tspcardamom powder
1 1/2 tsptamarind paste
1 tspanchovy paste (leave out if vegan)

Put all of the ingredients into a saucepan. Bring to the boil and whisk ingredients together well

Strain then pour into a sterilized glass jar or bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 8 months

Makes around 380mls or 1&1/2 cups
