My Mom's Game-Day Chili

I love this recipe! It can be done in a soup pot or a crockpot, and can be adjusted to suit personal tastes. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
My Mom's Game-Day Chili
I love this recipe! It can be done in a soup pot or a crockpot, and can be adjusted to suit personal tastes. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
Steps
- 1
Combine all "Into the Pot" ingredients either in a large soup pot or a large crockpot.
- 2
Add "*TO TASTE* Into the Pot" ingredients according to your preferences.
- 3
If using a soup pot, bring to a boil, them simmer (low heat) for a while until it tastes good.
- 4
If using a crockpot, you can cook it on high for a few hours or on low for most of the day.
- 5
I set out topping options for folks to top their individual servings.
- 6
I always serve mine with buttered cornbread and a big salad.
- 7
This recipe is easily cut in half if you're just making it for dinner for your family :-)
