Cinnamon Apple Pancakes

An apple a day keeps the doctor away! Cinnamon lowers blood sugar levels & has many medicinal uses.

Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 1/3 cupButtermilk pancake mix
  2. 1/4 cupWater
  3. 1 tspCinnamon powder
  4. 1/2 smallApple

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cut an apple in half. Peel off skin if you like. Using only one of the halves, chop into bite size pieces.

  2. 2

    Stir pancake mix & water together. Add in cinnamon powder. Let batter sit for a minute to thicken up.

    On medium heat, pour batter into the size pancake you want. Sprinkle in apple pieces. Continue cooking & flipping till both sides are golden brown. Top with honey or syrup. Enjoy!
