Place the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and salt in a blender and blend until smooth.

Gradually add water or yogurt as needed, along with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and blend until you reach your desired consistency.

Stop blending once the hummus is as thick or thin as you like.

In a skillet, heat a little oil and a pinch of salt. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring, until the liquid evaporates. Add a pinch of black pepper and remove from heat.

Fry the almonds or pine nuts in olive oil or vegetable oil until golden brown.

To serve, spread the hummus on a plate, top with the cooked beef, and garnish with the fried nuts and a sprinkle of sumac.
