Ingredients

21 mins
  • 1vegetable oil - enough to fry shrimp
  • 3/4 cupflour
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspground ginger
  • 1/4 tsppepper
  • 3egg whites
  • 2 cupshredded coconut
  • 680 gramslarge shrimp,cleaned & unveined

Steps

    Heat oil in deep fryer

  2. 2

    Meanwhile, mix flour,salt,ginger & pepper

  3. 3

    Beat egg whites,just until foamy

  4. 4

    Coat shrimp with mixture flour & dip it into egg whites

  5. 5

    Pat coconut onto shrimp

  6. 6

    Fry..turning once,for about 2-3 minutes..until golden brown
