Few beautiful things don't need any introduction. ....yesterday night i made this #MilkCake for my thakurji bhog....was thinking of making it from a long time but due to little busy schedule couldn't work it out....took full 1 1/2 hours to cook and full night to set....lots of patience and love gives a good result...its my daughters favourite....waiting for her to come back from school and give her best compliment...oh mumma you are the best. ...the most precious gift and medal that i can have ..These golden words ...

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 litersfull cream milk
  2. 1 1/2 tsplemon juice + 2 tbsp water
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tbspcardamom powder
  5. as neededchopped nuts to garnish

    Boil the milk in heavy bottom pan till it reduces to 1/3...first boil it on high flame after 3-4 boil reduce the flame to medium and keep on stiring till it comes to 1/3

    Now add lemon juice mix with water...leave it on slow flame for 1/2 min as it is do not stir it...after 1/2 min stir it again...when it comes to thicken a little more add sugar and again stir it continously till it comes to a binding consistency.

    Add cardamom powder in end when you are about to off the the gas....grease a deep vessel as i have taken my small bread loaf tin for it.

    Take it out in that and give a even finishing to it....garnish it with chopped nuts...its optional if you like it without nuts you can place it like that.

    Not let it set for at least 1 hour till it cools down completely and then set it in freeze for 4-5 hours..i kept it overnight for setting.

    Take it out and release the corners with a help of a sharp knife and then put it on a low flame for 4-5 second and then demould it on any plate...by heating it up its easy to take it out...cut them in your desired shape and enjoy

    Please while cooking the milk have a full look on the flame reduce and increase according to your convenience While demoulding it when you put it on flame it should be absolutely low and only for 4-5 second
