Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 2 lbground meat
  2. 1/4 cupbread crumbs
  3. 1egg (beaten)
  4. 1 packetonion soup mix
  5. 1 Tminced garlic
  6. 1 Tworchestshire sauce
  7. 1 tsalt
  8. 1 tpepper
  9. 1 tbutter
  10. 2 cupsbeef gravy

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350

  2. 2

    Mix together meat, crumbs, egg, soup mix, garlic, worchestshire, salt, and pepper.

    Form into 8- 10 flat patties.

  4. 4

    Heat butter in oven proof skillet. Brown patties in batches. (They'll finish in oven)

    Drain off most of the fat in the skillet. Put all patties in. Pour gravy over patties. (If they don't fit transfer to casserole dish)

    Bake 20 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.

    Just saying...I used gravy from packets for this because I wanted strong thick gravy, usually I would make it from scratch, but anyway, that's why there's no recipe for the gravy...

Honestly, I put my recipes here so that I can easily look them up myself (although some are made often enough that I no longer need the recipe - like the pork chops, my son's favorite). That being said, these are the tried and true dishes I make on a regular basis for my family. But, of course, I'm glad to share...enjoy.
