A customer came in the store one day and asked if I'd like his recipe for Slop. I thought it might be interesting to try. This is based on what he told me

Ingredients

40 mins
8 servings
  1. 1 can15 oz chili
  2. 1 can15 oz whole kernel corn
  3. 1 can15 oz dice tomato with chilies ....ie rotel
  4. 1 can15 oz chili beans
  5. 2 packages6.5 oz each corn bread mix
  6. 2 cupvelveeta cheese, cubed

Cooking Instructions

40 mins
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 425° F

  2. 2

    Mix canned ingredients in large bowl

  3. 3

    Pour into 10x13x2 casserole pan

  4. 4

    Mix cornbread as directed on package and pour on top of can mixture

  5. 5

    Bake for 15 minutes until surface of cornbread is dry to touch

  6. 6

    Place cubed cheese on top and put back in oven

  7. 7

    Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and nicely browned.

  8. 8

    Serve and enjoy

We tried this for dinner last night. I personally didn't like it but everyone else liked it. I would make it again with a different cheese since it's basically Chili.
