Ingredients

  • 1 packagesegg noodles
  • 1rope of smoked sausage (I used Johnsonville, but any brand will do)
  • 2medium green peppers, cored and sliced into strips
  • 1yellow onion, diced
  • 24 ozalfredo sauce
  • 2garlic clove, minced
  • 1salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1cayanne pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cupbutter, for sauteing onions and peppers
  • 1 cupshredded cheddar

    Prepare the noodles according to the package (I add a bit of salt to the water when it boils, it helps to keep the pasta from sticking). Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    While boiling the pasta, saute the onions in a saucepan. Add the peppers and garlic, stirring constantly.

  3. 3

    Slice the sausage and add to peppers and onions, stirring to keep from scorching.

  4. 4

    Once the sausage mixture is finished, remove from heat.

  5. 5

    Mix alfredo sauce into noodles and turn heat back on to low, stirring constantly. Add spices and mix well.

  6. 6

    Mix in peppers, onions, and sausage and combine. Add shredded cheese and stir until mixed. Serve hot and enjoy!
