3 largeegg whites
1/2 tspcream of tartar
1 pinchof salt
3/4 cupsugar
4drops of red food coloring
1/4 tbsppure vanilla extract
1 cupdark chocolate &mint morsels

Steps

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease and lightly flour two baking sheets .

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and salt until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar , 2 tablespoons at a time , until soft peak form . Stir in red food coloring and vanilla extract .Fold in chocolate & mint morsels.

Drop meringue by teaspoonfuls, 1 inch apart , onto prepared cookie sheets.

Place in preheated oven . Turn off heat , let meringue set in oven 6 to 8 hours .
