Easy Garlic Butter

Ingredients

  1. 1 tspOlive Oil, Extra Virgin
  2. 8 cloveFresh Garlic, Pounded in to a paste
  3. 1 1/3 cupButter, Salted.

    Heat oil in a pan, and add garlic paste. Keep the heat on low as we don't want to burn our garlic.

    After 5 minutes when the garlic starts to just change color, add the butter. (Make sure it's at room temperature)

    Let the gas flame be on low all the while. Stir the butter mixture and continue for the next 5 minutes making sure the butter doesn't burn.

    5 mins later switch off the gas, and let it stand for 2 hours. This will marinate the butter in garlic. And give immense flavour.

    It can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. Butter Garlic can be used to baste on barbecued meat or Indian naan or simply had with bread, as Garlic Bread!
