After awhile being absent, today I am coming back with a dessert recipe. Creamy freshly mango pancake, l believe this dessert is originated from Hong Kong. This dessert is the best dessert to die for. The fresh mango layers topped with sweet whipped cream then wrapped in a thin sweet yellow bright crepe, folded into pillow-shaped or envelope. It’s very easy to make and inexpensive ingredients. Wanna try????Let’s see the recipe. Nia Hiura -

Martabak Keju (Indonesian Cheese Thick Pancake) Martabak Keju (Indonesian Cheese Thick Pancake)
You can find the sellers in many places in my country, Indonesia! Some call it martabak manis, some call it terang bulan. You can change the filling to chocolate rice, chocolate chips, crushed peanuts, jam, etc. We like slightly burned martabak, but if you don't care for the taste, just use the lowest heat possible when making this thick pancake. I use a cast iron skillet for this. This recipe yields 2 thick pancakes (my cast iron skillet is 15 cm in diameter, about 6 inches). Angela Mertoyono -
Indonesian Folded Chocolate Pancake (Martabak Manis Lipat) Indonesian Folded Chocolate Pancake (Martabak Manis Lipat)
This is a very popular sweet treat and common street food that can be easily found in the streets of Indonesia. Lately, the increase in modern bakeries gave rise to a variety of fusion flavours, like what I did this time, making it with chocolate flavor and in a mini version. The texture of a good Martabak Manis has to to be soft and chewy with its distinct honeycomb texture visible. For the filling, traditionally is cheese, chocolate sprinkle, condensed milk and/or crushed peanut, but you can fill with whatever you like. Pawon Indo Bule -

Character Crepes Made from Pancake Mix Character Crepes Made from Pancake Mix
I thought about making a cloth-like crepe using pancake mix for my pancake and crepe-loving son, but inspiration struck when I was making it, so I rolled them up and drew on some faces. The faces will fall off if you don't strongly whip the heavy cream.Adding in lots of heavy cream gives these a good shape. When adding in more of milk B to turn it into a crepe batter, you will end up with crepes that are too thick if there is not enough milk, and you won't be able to tuck it in at the bottom. Please try it out after cooking just one piece. Recipe by Hamumaki cookpad.japan -

Matcha Hotteok [Green Tea Pancake] Matcha Hotteok [Green Tea Pancake]
Hotteok is a Korean pancake typically filled with gooey brown sugar syrup and nuts. It has a rather crispy exterior and nice chewy texture. Best served warm to get that syrupy melt in the mouth sensation.I added Matcha to create a green tea variation but you can certainly opt it out for the original version. This is my favorite pancake and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
