I like making & trying different BBQ sauces that aren't tomato based. This one is mildly spicy, but you can easily adjust to your preference by adding more or less jalapeño. Use as you would any BBQ sauce. Was delicious on our grilled pork tenderloin medallions! I'm looking forward to trying it as a dipping sauce for egg rolls and pork wontons! Yum!#GoldenApron23 Maggie Conlon -

Blueberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce Blueberry Chipotle Barbecue Sauce
Tangy, sticky KC style barbecue sauce, with a blueberry twist! Perfect for ribs, pulled pork, chicken, or as a spread on your favorite sandwich! Makes about 1/2 gallon of the stuff, which is enough for 5-6 cookoffs, or about 50 2 tbsp. servings. You will have plenty, so freeze what's left in a Ziploc bag, or cut the recipe in half. This is one of the best homemade barbecue sauces I've found. I use it all the time but usually have to double the recipe for my big family & huge crockpot. Haha. Recipe Source: http://tastykitchen.com/blog/2011/09/smoky-bbq-sauce/ Ashley Speaks -

My dad has a huge blueberry bush that produces a lot of berries. He unfortunately is not able to eat them because of the seeds. But he still picks the berries, packages and freezes them. Last time I visited he gave me 4 gallon bags full!! So it seems like the perfect time to try my hand at a blueberry BBQ sauce. NCCook -
