Here is just another quick recipe I want to share for those days you need a fast, good meal.

Ingredients

30 mins
6 servings
  1. red beans
  2. 1 1/2 cupbasmati rice
  3. 1 largewhite onion
  4. 1 tbspoil
  5. 2 canred bean, 14 ounces each, drained and rinsed
  6. 1 tspcumin and granulated garlic
  7. 1/2 tbspsalt
  8. 2 tbspfresh cilantro
  9. 3 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

    In large, deep skillet add oil.

  2. 2

    Peel onions, cut in half and slice in a medium thickness.

  3. 3

    Add to heated oil, medium-high heat, and saute 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add rice and saute another 3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add in seasonings, cilantro, stir and add the hottest water from your tap.

  6. 6

    Cover, reduce heat to simmer and cook 20 minutes.

  7. 7

    You can garnish with some sour cream and more fresh cilantro.
