Ingredients

  1. Pot Roast
  2. 3 lbPork Roast
  3. 1 envelopeOnion Soup Mix
  4. 1/2 cupWater
  5. Roasted Potatoes
  6. 3 mediumPotatoes (diced)
  7. 1 tbspCanola Oil
  8. 1Steakhouse Seasoning (to taste)
  9. Candied Carrots
  10. 1 bagCarrots (peeled and chopped)
  11. 2 tbspButter
  12. 1/4 cupBrown Sugar (or to taste)

  1. 1

    Put pork roast ( i like to use pork carnitas) into slow cooker. Mix together envelope of onion soup mix and water and pour over roast then cook on low for 8-10.

  2. 2

    When you have about an hour and a half left pre heat oven to 350°F.

  3. 3

    Dice potatoes and put into large mixing bowl. Add oil and toss then add seasoning and toss again.

  4. 4

    Grease 8x8 baking dish. Pour potatoes into baking dish and cook for 1 hour or until tender.

  5. 5

    Bring water to boil in medium sauce pan. Add chopped carrots and boil for 30 minutes or until tender.

  6. 6

    Drain carrots return to pan and add butter. stir until butter is melted then add brown sugar and stir until disolved and evenly coated.

  7. 7

    Dish up and enjoy.
