Steps

After washing daal and chawal properly,,soak them for 5minutes in water

In a pressure cooker,,add 1tsp ghee,,heat it up,,put cumin seeds,,hing,,,,then add rice,dal, salt,, turmeric powder,,water,, close the lid of the cooker,,

Pressure cook it for 10 minutes,, after one whistle,, turn the heat down,, after 10 minutes turn off the flame..

When the steam released, open the pressure cooker..mix it well with laddle..add grated ginger and mix well.

When serving KHICHDI, garnish it with desi ghee,, chilli oil,, and Hara dhania

Serve it with fulpapad,,papad,, Pickles of Your choice,,curd as well,, and Anaardana Muhaani
