Combine the flour, salt and baking soda.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.

Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix well.

Add the vanilla and sour cream and mix.

Pour into a well greased and floured tube pan (bundt pan) and bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or until completely done.

It will be golden and cracked on top when done, and the batter will look "set".
