Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1 tspdried basil leaves
  3. 1/2 tspdried thyme leaves
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 1/4 tsppepper
  6. 3 tbspvegetable oil
  7. 110 1/2 oz. condensed french onion soup
  8. 1/2 cupbeef broth
  9. 1bay leaf
  10. 1 largepotato,cut into.1' cubes
  11. 4carrots,cut into 2' pieces
  12. 2celery,cut into 2".pieces
  13. 3 lbvenison

    Preheat oven to 350°

  2. 2

    In large ziploc bag and combine first 5 ing. Add meat and shake to coat well.

  3. 3

    In large pot brown meat and both sides in oil. Add spice mix leftovers to pot and add soup,broth and bay leaves.

  4. 4

    Heat to a boil and remove from heat. Cover and bake in baking dish 1 1/2 hour

  5. 5

    Add veggies and re cover and bake another 1 1/2 hour. Remove bay leaf and serve.
