Ingredients

  • 3/4 cupgranulated sugar
  • 3/4 cuppacked brown sugar
  • 1 cupstick margarine or butter, softened*
  • 1 largeegg
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 cupchopped nuts
  • 12 ozchocolate chips
  • 2 1/4 cupall perpose flour

  1. 1

    heat oven to 375.

  2. 2

    Mister sugars, margarine, and egg in large bowl. stir in flour, baking soda and salt. stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

  3. 3

    drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. 4

    bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown. cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet. cool on wire rack.
