Steps

Boil potatoes until cooked.

Mash potatoes with butter and allow to cool.

Transfer into a bowl add egg and flour

Mix together to form a dough, you may need more flour

Dust worktop with flour and roller out your dough onto your worktop with a rolling pin.

cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a mug.

heat frying pan with oil until hot and fry your potato cakes untill golden brown. (lovely with Bacon and Soft fried egg!)
