Add all ingredients EXCEPT ice water to a large stock pot

Cook on medium high heat to dissolve the solids and then bring to a boil

Remove from heat, then cool to room temperature and then refridgerate
- 4
On the day you are ready to cook add brine to ice water and pour in a 5gallon bucket and let meat sit in it for 8-12 hours
