Ingredients

30 minutes
2 servings
  • 1/4th cup of shredded cabbage
  • 1/4th cup grated carrots
  • 1/4th cup of chopped onion
  • 1/4th cup of chopped mushrooms
  • 1/4th cup of chopped French beans
  • 1 teaspoonfinely chopped ginger
  • 1 teaspoongarlic chopped
  • 1 tablespooncelery leaves chopped
  • 1green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoonvinegar
  • 2 teaspoonsoy sauce or add as required
  • 1/4th teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cupswater
  • 6 teaspooncornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoon water
  • 2 teaspoonfinely chopped coriander leaves for garnish
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt or as required
  • For the fried noodles
  • 1/2 cupcooked noodles
  • Oil for frying

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat oil in a wok and add the chopped chillies, garlic and ginger.
    Sauté for a minute and then add chopped onions.

  2. 2

    Sauté agian and add finely chopped french beans and chopped mushrooms and saute on a high flame till the mushrooms get lightly browned from the edges.

  3. 3

    Next add grated carrots, shredded cabbage, finely chopped capsicum, celery.

  4. 4

    Stir fry on a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Add, sauces, cornstarch and water and mix well to avoid lumps.

  5. 5

    Add vinegar, salt and spices and let it simmer for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.

  6. 6

    On the other side fry the cooked noodles, till they are crisp

  7. 7

    Add noodles and coriander leaves, just before serving.

  8. 8

    Enjoy hot Manchow soup with crispy noodles
