This is a tastey, easy recipe that makes a very large amount and it does break your teeth!!

Preheat oven 225°F for 30 minutes

Boil butter, maple syrup, salt and brown sugar for 5minutes (rolling boil). If using margarine, boil a little longer. Add baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Add meatnuts. Use a large pan(roasting pan). Pour syrup over 6qts of popped popcorn and nuts. Stir once after half the time in the oven. Cool ,break apart and store in airtight continer. Can be frozen.
