  • main ingredients
  • 2 lbground chuck or turkey
  • 2 packagesmcCormick brown or onion gravy mic
  • 4 cupfrozen mixed veg. or peas and carrots
  • 2 cupwater
  • 6 cupmashed potatoes
  • topping variations
  • 2 tspparsley flakes
  • 1 cupshredded cheddar cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    pre- heat oven 350

  2. 2

    brown ground chuck or turkey and drain fat

  3. 3

    add thawed frozen veggies to meat mixture

  4. 4

    mix gravy mix and water and pour over meat, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes

  5. 5

    transfer meat mixture to 4 quart casserole dish and cover top of meat with mash potatoes

  6. 6

    bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until meat mixture is bubbling. and potatoes or lightly brown

  7. 7

    sprinkle potato with parsley flakes or shredded as desired
