in Med saucepan, stir together sugar, syrup, + water.

while stirring, cook over Med heat until sugar is dissolved.

without stirring bring to a boil until candy thermometer reads between 300 and 310

remove from heat and add flavor extract by stirring slightly

for food coloring you can mix it in now or you can get creative in the next step

pour candy onto powdered cookie sheet. if you waited to do coloring you can dribble a few dots over candy then use a fork and mix it around in a marbel-ized effect

after compleatly cooled add light powered sugar on top then use a hard object to lightly crack the candy into prices. put into a air tight container
